Second Annual Philanthropic Bride Challenge – A Giving Heart
VA--- In an effort to continue combining philanthropy and fashion in the
community, the YWCA of Central Virginia’s Church Street Bridal Shop is holding
its second annual Philanthropic Bride Challenge – A giving heart. The challenge, created to recognize and
award a deserving bride-to-be that gives back to her community, is open for
nominations until March 19, 2011.
To nominate a
philanthropic bride, write an essay or letter (500 words or less) about how she
has positively impacted her community.
Essays or letters may be faxed to 434-528-3449, e-mailed to Michelle
Duncan at email@example.com with the subject line that says, “Philanthropic
Bride” or mailed to the YWCA of Central Virginia, 626 Church Street, Lynchburg,
VA 24504. Winners will be
announced at the Purse&Passion Fundraiser Luncheon on April 1, 2011. For more information on the rules of

Street Bridal support the YWCA’s programs: Domestic Violence
Prevention Center, housing for women, Ygyrl Leaders Mentoring and Racial
