Mary Glenn Jackson was the founder of the
YWCA Miami and a strong pioneer for women
in the early 1900s. Her surname Jackson is
renowned in the Miami community and justly
so; she was the wife of Dr. James M. Jackson
founder of Jackson Memorial Hospital.
