Housing and Employment Specialist

As an integral member of our LEAP team, the Housing and Employment Specialist identifies and supports the housing and employment needs of our domestic violence and community program participants through case management and the development and delivery of housing and employment trainings. Additionally, this role coordinates the screening and occupancy process for residents seeking entry to our permanent supportive housing program. This position contributes to creating a warm and welcoming space for women and children and demonstrates an ongoing commitment to the delivery of high quality, trauma-informed services for clients of YWCA Evanston/North Shore. Equity Institute Director

The Equity Institute Director is a dynamic, visionary leader with a demonstrated, measurable record of guiding organizations toward increased institutional racial equity. The Director is skilled at developing programming, training curricula, and consulting services that integrate the intersectionality of equity issues and build on 8 years of YWCA racial equity community work, positioning the organization to expand its impact and its profile as a regional leader on organizational equity consulting, education, and training. The Director will support and foster a highly motivated, passionate team committed to a standard of excellence and innovation in the field of organizational and community equity.

Our current Equity Institute programs educate, train, and activate individuals and organizations. Consisting of a calendar of single and comprehensive trainings, organizational equity consulting, and community education programs and events we are seeking a leader who can deepen the complexity, reach, and impact of our work.

Residential Specialist

As part of a larger team, provides critical social and in-take support to residents of the Domestic Violence Program of YWCA Evanston/North Shore with a deep commitment to creating a warm, welcoming, and trauma-informed space for all. The Resident Support Specialist is a compassionate individual who embraces the opportunity to build supportive relationships with residents, role models appropriate behaviors and boundaries, takes every opportunity to create a healthy and healing shelter environment and as a result spends most of their time engaging residents. Clinical Services Manager
