Animal Friends for Veterans

Veterans have always held a very special place at Animal Friends. After all, they were the impetus of our founding back in 1943 when soldiers were leaving for WWII with no place for their pets to go.

A pet can provide such important companionship and support to any adoptive family, but that support can be even more meaningful to a veteran who has given so much for our country. At Animal Friends, we help any veteran or active military member find a new best friend (dog, cat or rabbit) through our Animal Friends for Veterans program. By way of a special thank you to the veteran, the requested donation for the adoption is waived and, as an added benefit, we offer other discounts and support as needed.

To ensure we can continue to make these important and lifesaving matches, we need your support. Your gift helps to underwrite the cost of care and support to make successful veteran matches.
