The Chic Boutique is designed to reward YWCA clients for becoming more self-sufficient and making progress, by giving those limited income and transportation a chance to earn and acquire items they need. By attending classes or reaching goals set with their case managers, clients receive vouchers they may use to shop in the Boutique.
Many clients save their vouchers for several consecutive weeks to purchase more valuable items for their families. The Boutique is full of toys, new clothing, diapers, personal hygiene products, electronics, housewares, and home décor items that have been donated.
We are excited to announce that in 2013, YWCA Northeast Indiana’s Chic Boutique provided 2,409 items to clients in our programs! This means clients worked hard within our programs and earned these items for their home and families.
None of this would be possible without the continued support of our community in donating the items to supply the boutique – THANK YOU TO ALL WHO HAVE DONATED!
