CHS Personal Storytelling Workshop - Tuesday, February 20, 7-9 p.m. at Connecticut Humane Society, Newington
Ira Glass of This American Life says, “Great stories happen to people who know how to tell them.” Do you want to get better at captivating listeners? Whether you want to tell your personal story on stage, in a business meeting, or with your grandchildren on your lap, storyteller Terry Wolfisch Cole will teach you skills to engage any audience.
Admission for this fun workshop is only $20 per person.
Terry is a Moth StorySLAM and GrandSLAM champion. Her story of running away from home was featured on the Moth Radio Hour on NPR and in the pages of Readers Digest magazine. She is the founder of Tell Me Another, a storytelling show in the Hartford area.
After attending this workshop, you will have the opportunity to "pitch" your personal story and be considered to present at "Tell Me Another: Tails", a storytelling fundraiser for CT Humane Society pets on Saturday, April 21, 2018, 6:30-10 p.m. at the Town & County Club in Hartford.
In the event of inclement weather, the snow date for this workshop is Tuesday, February 27, 7-9 p.m. at CT Humane Society Newington. All registrants will be advised via phone in the event that the workshop is rescheduled to February 27th.
