Have you ever wondered why there are so many great women leaders in Southern Arizona? The Women's Leadership Academy is the ONLY program designed by and for women in Arizona. This six week course provides tools and gives you confidence to take your career or business to the next level by becoming a more effective leader. Our action-oriented approach to cultivating leadership talent includes a combination of informative lectures, interactive exercises, and outcome-focused activities that will help you improve your leadership skills in measurable ways. 1. Discover your unique leadership style and how to develop it to achieve maximum impact
2. Identify leadership goals you want to achieve during the program (and after)
3. Lead people and teams that are supportive and accountable, flexible and outcome-focused
4. Strengthen your self-confidence and sense of empowerment to get desired results
The Women's Leadership Academy takes place at the Frances McClelland Community Center (525 N. Bonita Ave) from 4:30 -7:30 p.m. on March 22, March 29, April 5, April 12, April 19, and April 26.
Afternoon snacks and dinner are included in the cost of registration.
The Women's Leadership Academy is facilitated by Michelle Pitot, EdD, CPC, LCSW, and the Chief of Staff of the YWCA of Southern Arizona. As an executive, entrepreneur, certified coach and licensed therapist, Dr. Pitot brings both personal and professional leadership skills to her work. Prior to joining the team of the YWCA, she was part of a leadership team that expanded a local Tucson company across 45 states and Canada. She has held a variety of leadership positions for many years and she consistently inspires others to find and express their voice to become conscious, effective leaders.
