Join this effort to support the Marine Corps Scholarship Foundation!

In honor of The Basic School Basic Officer Course 2-70, with an INITIAL PLEDGE OF $25,000 over 5 years, fellow class member and former Foundation board member Rick Lottie and his wife, Vickie, created this scholarship, in which other TBS classmates and friends can contribute to assist the Marine Corps Scholarship Foundation in its mission of helping the children of Marines and of former Marines pursue higher education at accredited universities, colleges, vocational, and technical schools. Since 1962, the Foundation has awarded more than 22,500 scholarships and bonds totaling more than $39.2 million, including $4.55 million to 1,393 scholarship recipients in 2008.

The Basic School BOC 2-70 has produced many prominent individuals who have made significant leadership contributions to society, including the 33rd Commandant of the Marine Corps General Michael W. Hagee. With this scholarship, we recognize the service of our class and honor the Marines and corpsmen with whom we served by helping fund the education of the children of Marines.

As we reflect upon our lives, we realize how much the Corps has meant to us and recognize the values it imbued in us. Now, it is our turn to step up and give back. Please join this effort by simply making a donation online on this web page (enter a donation amount above the thermometer that you see to the left of this text to begin), or please send a check to:
