Volunteer Opportunity
Set-up and Event Assistance
8am to Noon

Volunteer responsibilities may include: Booth set up (10x10 canopy, tables and chairs per event layout) set up sponsor banners, set up water stop on walk route, help put together lunch and assist sponsors and AHA staff where needed, help coordinate teams for team photos, staff booths and VIP tent.
 
Event and Take Down
10:30am to 2:30pm

Volunteer responsibilities may include: Set up and serve food in the VIP tent, distribute lunch to 2,500 participants, staff festival tents, course support and route monitors, directing event participants, monitoring the route, and assisting sponsors and AHA staff where needed. Event breakdown: fold tables and chairs, take down sponsor banners, pack up all booths, and assist sponsors and AHA staff where needed.
 
All Day Shift
8:00am to 2:30pm

Assist with day of event Heart Walk needs which may include any of the following responsibilities: Set up of various booths and stations, help coordinate participants for team photos, distribute lunch to 2,500 participants, staff festival tents, course support and route monitors, directing event participants, monitoring the route. Event breakdown: fold tables and chairs, take down sponsor banners, pack up all booths, and assist sponsors and AHA staff where needed.
