The Joan B. Kroc Institute for Peace & Justice (IPJ) will present San Diego’s annual breakfast
celebrating International Women’s Day and Women’s History Month. We are honored to welcome Leymah
Gbowee, 2011 Nobel Laureate, back to the IPJ as the guest speaker for this breakfast. Interim
Executive Director Dee Aker and Program Officer Jennifer Freeman will also present the report from
last fall's Breaking Barriers conference, as well as their experience at the U.N. Commission on
the Status of Women.
Please note that we will not be selling tickets at the door, and we will not be
mailing purchased tickets. Please check in at the registration table in the IPJ Rotunda to receive
your voucher for the breakfast.
