We encourage you to personalize your letter.

Medicare provides access to health care not only for older Americans, but also for millions of people with serious disabilities. However, after being deemed disabled by the government, people under 65 must wait two years before becoming eligible for Medicare coverage.

Tell your senators and representative to pass health reform legislation that provides affordable coverage and guaranteed access, regardless of pre-existing conditions, for people with disabilities who are stuck in the two-year waiting period for Medicare.
