Fantasy On Ice

Grab your parkas, slip on your mittens, lace up your ice skates, and head out to… downtown San Diego? That’s right, you can once again skate under the stars at Fantasy on Ice, the coolest way ever to help the Cancer Care Center at Rady Children’s Hospital-San Diego.

Rady Children’s Hospital Auxiliary, The Irvine Company, SENTRE Partners, and NBC 7/39 are again teaming up to present this wonderful way to enjoy the holiday season.

The Fantasy on Ice tradition begins with San Diego’s  first outdoor ice-skating rink. From mid-November through mid-January, the Ice Rink at Horton Square adjacent to Horton Plaza becomes our city’s winter wonderland, with daily skating from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.

And that’s only the beginning! Other events include a special tree-lighting ceremony in conjunction with Rockefeller Center in New York City, a television special on NBC 7/39, performances by professional skaters and more.

Of course, the real wonder is in helping the patients at Rady Children’s Cancer Care Center. Whether you come to relive childhood memories, enjoy a romantic evening gliding hand-in-hand or treating your kids to some real family fun, you’ll be helping kids who really need your support.
