Nebraska and Wyoming advocacyThe Great Plains Chapter's Public Policy Efforts are currently focused at the state level on the development of adequately trained staff to provide dementia-specific care to people with Alzheimer's disease in the community or in residential settings. There is a focused effort to have current state plans developed that looks at the needs of persons with Alzheimer's disease at the state level to guide Nebraska and Wyoming in their services to persons with Alzheimer's and their families.
