Red-footed Falcon
Red-footed falcon (Falco Amurensis) is a bird of prey belonging to the falcon family Falconidae. The Red-footed falcons generally grow about 30cm tall, and get their name from the color of their legs, belly and stern. They are summer migrants of Beijing area, and mostly common seen in suburbs. Their diet consists of Small mammals and insects. They breed from May to July, mostly lay 3-5 eggs every nest. IFAW BRRC takes around 10 injured red-footed falcons or nestlings every year.
