Commercial whaling is both cruel and unnecessary. Here are three things you can do right now to help save whales from whaling and the increasing threats from ocean noise, ship strikes, entanglement in fishing gear and climate change.

	1. Increased Threats to Whales Demand More Than Just Words It is crucial that our leaders act now in more than just words condemning the cruelty of whaling. Please send a message to President Thabo Mvuyelwa Mbeki asking him to take serious diplomatic actions to ensure that the International Whaling Commission is in favor of whale protection and conservation.
	2. Tell Others to Help Protect Whales It only takes a few seconds to spread the word about the cruelty of whaling and our efforts to end it, yet the impact on the campaign is enormous. Please invite your friends, family, and colleagues to help save the whales.
