Why Registration is so Important
In order to attend Family Weekend activities, you MUST register by September 5! Caterers and academic departments require head counts. If you do not pre-register, there is a chance there will not be room for you at the events you wish to attend. We do not want to turn anyone away, so please register early!
Registration Fee
Our Family Weekend registration fee enables the University to provide select events during Family Weekend at no additional cost to participants. This fee also covers the costs of our Family Weekend publications, postage, online and onsite registration services, and access to the Weinstein Center for Recreation and Wellness. In addition, the fee helps to offset our costs, facility staff and service fees, parking attendants, security, and other incidental expenses. Family Weekend is an independent and self-supported event for the University of Richmond families and is not financed by student fees or tuition.
Registration and payment are due by Friday, September 5, 2008.
There is a $25 registration fee per family which will be automatically added to your total. Registrations received after September 5 or at the Welcome Center will be charged a fee of $30 per family. All registrations are non-refundable.
Instructions
Please indicate which programs you plan to attend and total amount for tickets you are purchasing. All registrations for the Family Weekend tailgate and football game, Saturday night a cappella concert and Society of Families Brunch must be pre-purchased, and tickets will be available for pick-up at the Welcome Center on Friday from 9:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. and Saturday from 8:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. at the Jepson Alumni Center. Football tickets not picked up at the Welcome and Information Center by 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 20 will be available at the University of Richmond Stadium Will Call at 1:30 p.m.
Do not include your Richmond student in your Spider Football ticket count (student tickets are free with their student ID), but do include your student in your pre-game tailgate lunch count.
Please include your student in all other event counts, but keep in mind that Friday, September 19 is a normal class day.
