Hunger is Solvable!

More than 1 billion people in the world go hungry every day. And every day, 25,000 people die of hunger – more than half of them children. Fortunately, hunger is solvable. There is enough food in the world to feed every man, woman, and child, and the United Nations World Food Program (WFP) is working tirelessly to ensure that that food is made accessible to those who need it most. It costs just a few cents to feed a hungry person, and each one of us can make a world of difference by joining the Friends Ending Hunger campaign.

Friends Ending Hunger is an online tool that allows you to get your friends, family, coworkers and classmates involved in the campaign against hunger. You can create either an Individual Campaign or a Team Campaign.

With an Individual Campaign, you create your own personal webpage and can ask all of your friends to join in just by sending an email! They can visit your webpage and make a secure online contribution to support your campaign against hunger. You can keep track of how much you’ve raised, thank your supporters, post updates and photos on your webpage and, most importantly, help feed millions of hungry people around the world. With a Team Campaign, you have all of the capabilities of an Individual Campaign -- create your own webpage, and ask all of your friends to join in and donate with just an email. In addition, you will also be able to create a team webpage, which is linked to your personal page. Now, your friends and family have the additional option to become team members, creating their own personal webpages that are linked to your team page! Where Your Money Goes
