Help Our ACE Teachers!

Help the Atlanta ACE Community!

Atlanta is fortunately served by a thriving ACE community!  For those of you unfamiliar with ACE, ACE, or Alliance for Catholic Education, is a program that Notre Dame has which supplies Catholic schools in need with teachers for two years while these teachers also work on their Masters of Education.

We're hoping NDAtlanta can begin working more closely with our ACE teachers and helping to support their schools and their needs.

Some of the current needs of our ACE community include:

Art supplies for St. Peter Claver
Crayloa crayons
Tempura or acrylic paint
Paint jars
#2 Pencils
Sharpie Markers
Colored Pencils
Drawing Pencils
Tag Board
Mat Board
Glue Sticks
Elmer's White Glue Refill Bottles
Pink Erasers
Watercolor paper
Black construction paper

For the ACE Community House, where these students in service live:
Microwave (new or used)
Grill for their patio (new or used) - Charcoal or propane
Gift cards to Kroger/Publix
Gift cards to restaurants for community nights out
Used car (not necessarily a donation, but can just be a good deal) to get the teachers from their home to St. Joseph's Marietta

If you can help or if you can pass this list along to someone who might be able to help, the ACE community here in Atlanta would be incredibly grateful.  If you can assist with these efforts in any way, please contact ndatlanta@alumni.nd.edu and we will put you in touch with the ACE community.
