Through ACT's newest philanthropy initiative, Give Back Alexandria, a new generation of philanthropists is being educated about the needs of the city and how they can make a lasting impact in the lives of our city's most vulnerable.  Give Back empowers the next generation of Alexandrians to take a more active role in our community. 

Anyone who is looking for a social and strategic way to get involved is welcome.   If you are looking for a fun way to become more educated about community issues and giving back, this is the place.  Give Back Alexandria’s vision is to actively and strategically engage more Alexandrians in addressing problems related to children, youth and families.  Give Back Alexandria is collaborating with the Gang Prevention Task Force, the Alexandria Mentoring Partnership (comprised of 15 nonprofit organizations), Alexandria/Arlington Minority Volunteer Recruitment Committee and the City of Alexandria to actively address the need for more mentors and increasing adult engagement in the lives of children.
