American Lung Association meets BBB Wise Giving Alliance Standards

The Helena Heart Study

The American Lung Association of the Northern Rockies helped sponsor a groundbreaking study that occurred in Helena, Montana in 2004.  During the six months that workplaces and public places in Helena were smokefree, admissions for heart attacks decreased significantly.  This study has since been used nationally and internationally to help promote healthy, smokefree workplaces and public places.
