Liability Insurance & Property Coverage

Clubs: $550.00 / basic liability; $700.00 / basic plus additional property coverage.  County Committees: $650.00 / basic liability; $800.00 / basic plus additional property coverage.  One-time special event certificates offered free of charge. (Subsequent special event coverage is $200.00 per event.)  Note: Candidate committees are not eligible for this program. 

DSCC/Executive Board Lists
Complete DSCC membership* list: $75.00 | Partial DSCC membership* list: $45.00 Delivery: Pickup, U.S. Mail or e-mail: no extra charge; UPS Overnight: $20.00.  (Lists are based on region, Executive Board, District or County.)  We must have payment in hand to process your order. We accept AMEX, VISA, MC or checks made payable to the California Democratic Party. Administrative charges reflect costs for materials, processing and handling.  *Note: Email addresses will not be given out due to the CDP’s privacy policy.

Delegate Support
Answer questions for elected and appointed delegates regarding rules, procedures and Party business. We also help with reservations and meeting troubleshooting for Executive Board Meetings.

• The communications team offers a master calendar of meetings and events. We also post calendar listings around some holidays and statewide happenings;
• The "About Us" section of the Party website contains contact information for staff, statewide officers, Regional Directors, County Committees and caucuses;
• Message from the county chair and information about the county committee can be posted on your county page. (Calendared items for your county will appear on your county page automatically.) Candidate Recruitment
We recruit candidates to run in Republican-held Congressional and Legislative seats. Please let us know of candidates interested in running or willing to run. 

Endorsement Information 
The research department also oversees all endorsements, including 2010 statewide endorsements and all Congressional and Legislative endorsements.

Candidate Support
We provide binders for Democratic candidates in Republican-held Congressional and Legislative seats. The binders include opposition research on the Republican opposition and a campaign manual.

Voter Protection 
This department manages the Promote and Protect the Vote (P2TV) program, tasked with ensuring that every vote counts.

CDP Elections
This department organizes and conducts all internal party elections including CDP officer elections and DNC elections.

Issue research
This department tracks relevant legislation and important issues on both the state and federal levels. We also track polling results on a daily basis during an election cycle.

VR "Bounty" Program
In order to support the thousands of Democratic activists and organizations registering voters around the state, the California Democratic Party offers the Voter Registration Incentive Program. Chartered Democratic Clubs and County Central Committees are qualified to participate. The CDP offers $3.50 per Democratic registration and $4.00 per Democratic registration that includes a phone number, email address or a Vote-By-Mail (VBM) registration.  Click here for forms and information on the VR program.
