The Montgomery County Community Foundation plays a leadership role in the county as a bridge between those who want to give and local nonprofit organizations. Although the majority of our family and corporate funds do not accept unsolicited requests for funding, we regularly update our donors on issues and organizations making a difference in Montgomery County. We do accept proposals through the following two discretionary funds:

The Sharing Montgomery Fund makes grants to

local nonprofit organizations working with the

county’s low-income children and families. Learn more

The Dr. Daniel F. Lynch Memorial Fund supports

organizations that provide dental care to

underprivileged children living in Montgomery County

and the District of Columbia. Click here to find out

The Montgomery County Community Foundation also plays a leadership role in supporting the development of a healthy, coordinated nonprofit sector in the county. Learn more about these efforts through the Nonprofit Advancement Fund of Montgomery.

At this time, the Donors InVesting in Arts (DIVAs) Giving Circle is also accepting applications for its Fall Grant Cycle.
