   emergency fund, responds to the growing needs of

   people suffering through the recent economic downturn.

 w    The Sharing Montgomery Fund has a 13-year track

   record of supporting local nonprofits serving the county's

   low-income children, families, and seniors.

 w    The Nonprofit Advancement Fund strengthens the

   leadership and management of nonprofits, especially

   small and emerging organizations that serve the

   county's diverse communities. 

 w    The Bernie Fund provides scholarships for residents

   of low-income housing. 

 w    The Montgomery County “Kids” Fund supports the

   rehabilitation of children and youth in the juvenile justice system.
