Set Up A Fund
Opening a fund at the Montgomery County Community Foundation is quick and easy - in most cases, the fund is operational in less than 24 hours.
You can do it yourself, or you can work through your financial advisor to set it up. MCCF has extensive partnerships with financial advisors working with clients in Montgomery County.
You name the fund. You decide its charitable purpose. You contribute appreciated assets or cash to the fund. Then, grants are made from your fund to charitable organizations on your own timeline.
You receive a full tax deduction at the time the fund is established and when additional appreciated assets or cash are contributed into the fund.
