Fight Global Poverty and Hunger
Concern’s Empty Plate Campaign brings attention to the largest number of people living in Sub-Saharan Africa and South Asia facing severe hunger and poverty. Millions of women, men and children are chronically malnourished and are struggling to survive.
Make a Difference!
What if for just one day you say “no” to food and donate the cost of a meal to Concern’s Empty Plate Campaign. Be the catalyst for change - make an impact on hunger relief and prevention.
By donating the cost of a meal to Concern’s Empty Plate Campaign, you can help feed hungry people who survive on one meal a day. By leaving our plate empty, we have the power to feed the people of poor nations.

Tackling hunger and its root causes has been central to Concern's work since it was founded in 1968 in response to the devastating famine in Biafra. Over the past four decades, Concern has responded to famines and major food crises in Bangladesh in the 1970s, in Ethiopia in the 1980s, in Somalia and Sudan in the 1990s, and more recently in Somalia, Kenya, Niger, North Korea, Southern Africa and Ethiopia.
Concern is committed to reaching the poorest and most vulnerable, even in the most difficult of circumstances. Our aim is to help people living in absolute poverty achieve major improvements in their lives-improvements they can sustain without ongoing support from Concern.
Please spread the word to your friends, family, and
co-workers! Together, our Concern works.
