American Lung Association of Virginia Breaks Ground on Breathe Easy® Office To Include Lung Resource Center

Grand Opening of the Breathe Easy® Office Dedication Ceremony:
Staff, Guests and Volunteers Blowing Bubbles!

We're helping all Virginians breathe easier! Our new Breathe Easy® Office complex has opened in Richmond, Virginia just behind Stony Point Shopping Center on Forest Hill Avenue. The site supports the Association's office headquarters, a training facility, and a statewide Lung Health Resource Center.

The building has been constructed using the latest innovations in indoor air quality technology and environmentally-friendly construction materials. Our Breathe Easy® Office partners include commerical builder Dick Collier with R.E. Collier, Inc.; indoor air quality consultant, Chuck Bowles with The Energy Consortium; and Cheryl Hummel Palmore with Hummel Associates. Our building parnters have worked with us to identify innovative products and construction techniques to incorporate into the building as well as low VOC (volatile organic chemical) emitting furnishings.
