Quest for Breath General Donations
Where do Quest for Breath dollars go?
- All donations from the Quest for Breath fundraising efforts are used to help find better treatment options, and hopefully, even cure IPF!
- Quest for Breath is also sponsorsing current research projects within the Division of Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine in the Department of Internal Medicine while also building an endowment to ensure that there will always be funding for worthy IPF research projects in the future.
How much has Quest for Breath raised for IPF research?
- Since September 2005, Quest for Breath events have raised more than $210,000 to support IPF research! Some of those funds have provided seed money for preliminary studies that have generated more than $3 million in IPF research grants from the NIH.
