2008 Student Care Packages The Notre Dame Club of Fort Worth would like to thank the following people for donating money to help the club send care packages to all 55 current students from the Fort Worth area. The donors are Becky Camillus '02, Roni Tucker, 98, Susan Kleiser'89, Gay Davidson, Marianne Harris'77, Mona Alviar-Titus'92, Adam Rodriguez'98, Diane Schwartz'85, Michael Casey'77, Mairin Terry'75, and Rod Spear'71 Thanks to everyone who contributed. We have received a number of thank you notes from the students. This is the first year the club has sent the care packages and we hope to continue to do so in the future. 2008 Membership Ticket Purchase Lottery Congratulations to the winners of the 2008 membership lottery! Congratulations to Megan Cederburg ‘05MSA and Travis Soyer ‘05MBA on their wedding on May 3. Congratulations to Adam Rodriguez ’98 and Christy Hansen on their wedding on June 28. Congratulations to Rozann Carter ’05 and Paul Price on their engagement. 2008 Family/New Student Welcome Picnic The 2008 Family/New Student Welcome Picnic will be held on Saturday, May 3rd at 12:00pm at River Legacy Park in Arlington, Tx. Please feel free to bring frisbees, footballs, and any other sports equipment. The Club will provide hot dogs, hamburgers, drinks, and other snack foods. Please come out and meet your fellow Domers and the new students who will be entering the University of Notre Dame in the fall! 2008 Communion Breakfast The 2008 Communion Breakfast was held on March 2, 2008. We had 18 people in attendance. Thanks very much to Roni Tucker for arranging for the brunch at Reata in Downtown Fort Worth. It was delicious! New Club Leadership Our new President is Christy Dunn ‘00JD who has served as our President-Elect this year.
We are also pleased to announce that Dan Villegas ‘89, Club Treasurer, will assume the role of president-elect in 2008 and will become Club President when Christy’s term expires. Congratulations Dan!
