The online community of this site is specifically designed to facilitate communication among members of the St. Paul Schools community for personal or St. Paul Schools-related purposes.

Privacy & Security
The St. Paul High School Alumni Association has taken all reasonable precautions to secure your personal information. The private information in the St. Paul High School Alumni online community is password protected and open only to registered alumni, students, faculty, staff, and friends. Furthermore, these communities securely incorporate the latest encryption technology.

Although these precautions should effectively protect any personal information available from abuse or outside interference, a certain degree of privacy risk is faced any time information is shared over the Internet. Through the "Update Profile" feature, individuals can control the nature and amount of information available to other registered users of the online directory.

Web site activities and email communications such as newsletters may be used to track trends and interests.  You may opt-out of particular email correspondence by following the unsubscribe instructions in the email.

Policy and Guidelines for Proper Use
Information available through the online directory may be used for specific personal and St. Paul Schools-related purposes only. Use of these sites for any commercial, public, or political mailing is strictly prohibited. Prohibited uses of the information contained in the St. Paul Alumni online community include but are not limited to:

  • Advertising and solicitations for commercial services
  • Cold-calling of any kind or unsolicited mass-mailings
  • Activities that are illegal or fraudulent
  • Uses that inaccurately imply endorsement, approval, or sponsorship by the St. Paul High School, St. Paul Elementary School, the St. Paul Alumni Association, or their officers
  • Uses that can be confused with official communications of St. Paul High School, St. Paul Elementary School, the St. Paul Alumni Association, or their officers
  • Mailings of any kind using a false identification
  • Activities that violate other users' privacy such as granting access to the system or distributing information obtained from the services to those who cannot access the online directory on their own
  • Posting of obscene materials or use of obscene or vulgar language, hate speech or harassment, or use of abusive or threatening language of any kind
  • Creation of profane, fraudulent, or obscene Login Names.


Neither the St. Paul High School Alumni Association, St. Paul High School, nor St. Paul Elementary School is responsible for screening communications or postings, and neither the the St. Paul High School Alumni Association, St. Paul High School nor St. Paul Elementary School  will actively monitor the use of the online community. The St. Paul High School Alumni Association, however, reserves the right to reorganize or delete any postings or communications and may at its discretion reassign a discussion topic's ownership. The St. Paul High School Alumni Association expects community members to exhibit the same level of respect for others in this forum as in any other school-related venue. For this reason, it is essential that the users of the online community report any abuses or misuse by sending an email message to webmaster@spdeacs.org. If administrators determine that a user's participation in a web site may create a liability for St. Paul High School, St. Paul Elementary School, the St. Paul High School Alumni Association, or their officers, or that the user has violated the policies set forth herein, the St. Paul High School Alumni Association reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to take actions against the user. The St. Paul High School Alumni Association reserves the right to expel a user and to deny a user further access to the online community if such user violates these policies or any applicable laws or regulations. The St. Paul High School Alumni Association may deny access to the online community to any individual at any time.

Liability and Indemnity
The reliability of the information available through the online community is largely dependent upon the actions of registrants. St. Paul High School, St. Paul Elementary School, and the St. Paul High School Alumni Association can make no representations about the accuracy, reliability, completeness, or timeliness of this information.

The St. Paul High School Alumni Association does not warrant that the online community will operate error-free or that the sites and its server are free of computer viruses or other harmful material. To the fullest extent permitted by law, St. Paul High School, St. Paul Elementary School, the St. Paul High School Alumni Association, the Community Technology and Development Group, or their officers disclaims all warranties, including the warranties of merchantability, non-infringement, and fitness for particular purpose. In no event shall the St. Paul High School, St. Paul Elementary School, the St. Paul High School Alumni Association, the Community Technology Development Group, or their officers be liable for any damages whatsoever, including, without limitation, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, resulting from the use of or inability to use information or materials available in the online community.

By using any of the online community, you agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the St. Paul High School, St. Paul Elementary School, the St. Paul High School Alumni Association, and their respective agents from and against any and all losses, claims, damages, costs, and expenses that may arise from your use of the web sites or your breach of these policies. The St. Paul High School, St. Paul Elementary School, and the St. Paul High School Alumni Association will provide notice to you of any such action or claim, and reserves the right to participate, at your expense, in the investigation, settlement, and defense of any such action or claim.

Please Note
The St. Paul High School Alumni Association reserves the right to discontinue any or all online services at any time or to revise the terms and policies of this acceptable use agreement. If the policies are revised, the updated policies will be posted on the online community. You should review the policies periodically, particularly after any updates, to ensure that you are familiar with them.

Participation in the online community is a privilege. By using the system, you agree to abide by the online services policies outlined herein.
