Dear Notre Dame Alumni and Friends,

This past year has been an exceptional one for our Club.  In April, we were voted the 2007 Club of the Year for the Class A club size.  In recognition of our achievements, the Club has been chosen to host Charlie Weis for Universal Notre Dame Night April 22^nd,  2009.   In addition, the Club will also organize the annual bus trip for the Michigan State game on September 19^th and raise money in support of the Ara Parseghian Medical Research Foundation through the annual golf outing on July 13^th.  The Notre Dame Club of Milwaukee once again has the opportunity to be recognized as an outstanding club and is asking for your support as a Notre Dame Alumni, friend, or parent of the university.

The current dues payment structure is as follows:  $15 for any graduates after 2005, $20 for friends and parents of students, $30 for any other alumni except graduates during the current academic year and senior alums (those who have celebrated their 50-year class reunion) who receive complimentary memberships.  When we mail out an annual dues mailing each year and collect a dues payment and current mailing information, we ask that those members who can, please update their mailing information through irishonline.nd.edu.

Your dues support the Club's vital functions. They cover printing and mailing expenses, room deposits and speaker fees. They subsidize, when necessary, the cost of the Club's major events, including UND Night, the Football Luncheon, and the Hesburgh Lecture. Your dues help defray the cost of hosting a Summer Service Project student and sending local teachers to the University's Excellence In Teaching conference. They send Club delegates to the annual Alumni Senate at Notre Dame each spring. One hundred percent of your contribution goes to support local Club programming.

In addition to helping the club, only dues paying members will be allowed access to certain club benefits, including access to the football ticket exchange and preferred seating availability on the football bus trip.  Plus, all members who pay their dues by April 1^st, 2009 will be entered to win a 1 year subscription to Irish Sports Report!

This is your Club, and it is critically dependant on your dues to remain in operation.  The Club offers a wide variety of activities which range from casual to formal, from focusing on sporting events to centering on service and religion.  Please visit the club website, www.ndmilwaukee.com, throughout the year so you don’t miss any of the great events coming up in 2009!
