The new Samaritan House Volunteer Center is easy to use! It allows us to provide more detailed information about our volunteer opportunities and allows you to sign up for specific opportunities that meet your needs and interests.

1. The Volunteer Center allows you to search for open volunteer opportunities, sign-up for specific days and shifts, and track your volunteer hours. You will receive an email confirmation of each activity.
2. The Volunteer Center also contains important information about Volunteer Orientation, Dress Codes, and Job Descriptions.
3. Before you can sign up for specific opportunities, you will be asked to complete a Volunteer Registration Form. You can access the form from the menus on the top or bottom of each page or the primary navigation menu located on the left. The registration form will ask you for basic contact information, interests, skills, and availability. You will also be asked to create a user name and password, which will allow you to have full access to all of the site features. Please keep record of your user name and password for future visits. This information will also be emailed to you.
4. Once you have completed the Volunteer Registration, you can search for open positions using the Volunteer Positions Search feature located in the primary navigation menu on the left.  The search will provide detailed information about what each position entails and the desired skills.
5. You can sign up for specific opportunities directly from the search or by visiting the Volunteer Sign-Up page, which can be accessed from the menus on the top or bottom of each page or the primary navigation menu located on the left.
6. You can track your volunteer hours usin the Submit Time feature. We may also update your time from the backend, in case your forget to do so. You can view your volunteer history at any time and contact us to resolve any discrepancies.
7. Each time you return to the Volunteer Center to sign-up for a position, you wil be asked to Log In using your user name and password.
