Join WHYY on Wednesday, March 27th for a screening of Women in Chemistry. Guests will enjoy an informative panel discussion led by WHYY's Behavioral Health Reporter, Maiken Scott with filmmaker Glenn Holsten and renowned chemists Uma Chowdhry and Mary Lowe Good who are featured in the film.

Women in Chemistry highlights the notable careers of Nancy Chang, Uma Chowdhry, Mildren Cohn, Mary L. Good, Kathryn Hach-Darrow, Paula Hammond, Stephanie Kwolek and Kiran Mazumdar-Shaw. The featured women work in a variety of chemical careers, ranging from entrepreneurs to policy makers to research chemists, and come from different generations, countries, and racial and ethnic backgrounds. They all have made significant contributions to the chemical sciences. 

The event is presented by the Chemical Heritage Foundation, in partnership with WHYY.
