Join WHYY, in partnership with the Pennsylvania SPCA, for the second episode in the inspiring series, SHELTER ME, which celebrates shelter pets with positive and uplifting stories. The second episode, entitled "Let's Go Home" will feature stories about shelter pets that went from rescued to rescuer. Following the screening there will be a panel discussion with Angela Messer, Director of Operations at the PSPCA, and Cory Smith Senior Director of Pets For Life, Humane Society of the United States. The panel discussion will be moderated by David Heller, host of WHYY's NewsWorks Tonight.
Prior to the screening, the PSPCA Mobile Adoption unit will be on site at
WHYY with adoptable animals from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Smokin' Betty's
restaurant will also be on site beginning at 6:30 with samples of their upscale
