Join fellow Downton Abbey fans at WHYY on Sunday, February 19, 2012 for a themed reception celebrating Season Two of this Emmy Award Winning series and watch the finale when it airs at 9 p.m. on WHYY-TV on our state-of-the-art 16' x 9' HD screen!

Winner of 6 Emmy Awards last year, Downton Abbey returned this year to depict the lives of the noble Crawley family and the staff who serve them, in their Edwardian country house in 1900's. Created by Emmy-winning writer Julian Fellowes, the all-star cast includes Hugh Bonneville, Emmy-winner Dame Maggie Smith and Elizabeth McGovern.

Reception will feature light period-style refreshments and staff from The Design Center at Philadelphia University will be on hand showcasing period pieces from their collection, including a WWI army uniform, dresses, hats, fans, fabric samples, and shoes. Guests will be able to see up close, similar examples of clothing and accessories worn by the characters in the series!

Downton Abbey Marathon on WHYY-TV

On Sunday, February 19th, WHYY-TV will present a Downton Abbey marathon, showcasing all 10 hours of Season 2. Episode 1 will air at 1pm. The season finale will debut at 9pm.

* Please note -  Registration fee is to gain access to the pre-screening reception only. Guests can join us to watch the final episode for free, though registration is required.
