Since 1924, the American Heart Association has been a part of communities across America, working to build stronger hearts and healthier lives.  Now we are reaching out to people, one heart at a time, to create positive change - one life at a time.

You have the opportunity to join a new community of volunteers connecting with patients and their families to share your experience and support them in their journeys.  The Heart2Heart project is a pilot program created by the American Heart Association providing peer-to-peer support for cardiovascular disease patients, caregivers and those at high risk for heart disease and stroke.  We match volunteer guides who have knowledge and personal experience with participants who are facing similar situations and need guidance - or just someone to talk to.  Through this one-on-one connection, participants will find new direction, comfort and hope.
