Grow Your Reflection of Life Fund

There are many ways to help grow your Reflection of Life Fund – the opportunities are endless. You may like to consider some of the following suggestions, or come up with an idea of your own. We’ll do all we can to help.

Make a monthly gift
A very simple way of building your Fund is to make a monthly donation. Simply fill out your details on the donation form provided here.

Organize a collection
Jennifer had been an active member of her church congregation. When she died, the Ladies Prayer Group took up a collection and donated the money to Jennifer's Reflection of Life Fund. Now the Ladies Prayer Group tells the congregation how the Fund has grown, and what good work has resulted at Saint Alphonsus.

Hold a garage sale
“When my mom passed away, my sisters and I had to sort through her belongings. Once we decided which of her things we wanted to keep in the family, we organized a garage sale. We then donated all of the money from the sale into a Reflection of Life Fund in Mom's name. It was a great way to honor and keep the memory of our mom alive.”

Raise a glass
When Fred's 50th birthday rolled around, his friends threw him a special party. They set up a Reflection of Life Fund in memory of his dad, and asked all the guests to contribute to his Fund instead of bringing gifts. Fred couldn’t have been more touched by the birthday gift – and the party is one he'll not forget.

At Work
Take up a collection in Honor of a colleague or hold an annual golf day or other staff event, and donate the funds raised to a Reflection of Life Fund in your colleague's name.

Father's Day
“Dad's always been the strength that holds our family together. So instead of inundating him with more neckties and trinkets, we made last Father's Day something different. All the kids and grandkids made special donations to his Reflection of Life Fund.”
