Fundraise Door-to-Door

There are several ways you can join our team of dedicated Door-to-Door volunteers working towards a future free of heart disease and stroke for Manitobans. Each February, volunteers warm our hearts by helping to raise approximately $700,000 right here in Manitoba.

You can support the Door-to-Door campaign by becoming a:


By volunteering just 4 hours of your time during the month of February you could change the life of someone you know and love. Get physically active and meet your neighbours as you visit 25-35 homes on a route in your neighbourhood to:

  • Raise funds to support the fight against heart disease & stroke (official tax receipts will be provided to each donor)
  • Raise awareness by handing out Heart Month brochures
  • Thank your neighbours for their support of the Heart and Stroke Foundation in Manitoba

Area Coordinator

As an Area Coordinator you will work with the volunteers in your neighbourhood providing support and motivation throughout February. Working with your Zone Chair and/or local HSF staff you will:

  • Recruit & organize a strong team of canvassers in your Area (approx. 10-20 canvassers)
  • Distribute & collect kits from your canvassers
  • Deposit funds collected
  • Provide support to your neighbourhood canvassing team
  • Thank canvassers for their efforts

Zone Chair

Zone Chairs or Chairpeople are integral to the success of our campaign. As a Zone Chair, you will work closely with your local HSF staff to recruit the necessary volunteers in your Zone or town. Being a Zone Chair/Chairperson is a great way to connect with others in your community. As a Zone Chair you will:

  • Recruit & organize a strong team of Area Coordinators (approx. 10)
  • Support your Area Coordinators in recruiting & motivating canvassers
  • Coordinate & distribute the necessary materials for each Area Coordinator
  • Thank Area Coordinators for their efforts
