WHY VOLUNTEER FOR RACE FOR THE CURE©?

1 in 8 women will be diagnosed with breast cancer in her lifetime.

The two largest risk factors are being a woman and aging.

  • The Race for the Cure© is about raising funds and awareness to end breast cancer. To learn more about this event click here.

  • Our Race is the largest participatory event in Southern Arizona. It takes OVER 600 Volunteers to stage this event.

  • Volunteer opportunities begin in late March and continue through Race day. To see what positions are available, click here.

  • All Race volunteers will receive a special T-shirt in appreciation of their efforts.

  • Being a Race volunteer is FUN and REWARDING.
