Tips for Signing Up Race Volunteers

  THIS IS A TWO PART PROCESS AS OUTLINED BELOW!

  PART 1:  CREATE A VOLUNTEER PROFILE (CONTACT INFORMATION)

                              (You'll only need to do this once each race year)

• To CREATE your profile

  • Click the "Create Volunteer Profile" link in the left menu
  • ATTENTION: Each volunteer must have a unique username & password
  • Click "click here" to bring up the Volunteer Profile Form
  • Fill out the form, including username & password & "Submit" the form
  •   You will receive an EMAIL CONFIRMATION with your username & password by email within a few minutes

• To EDIT/UPDATE your profile after it has been submitted 

• Click "Edit Volunteer Profile"
• ATTENTION: In order to edit your profile, you must have registered as a volunteer this year on this web site.

• If you're ready to edit your profile, click "Proceed to Edit Volunteer Profile"

• On this form you can edit CONTACT INFO and USERNAME/PASSWORD
• For other changes - positions signed up for, special considerations/limitations, email mstrosky@gmail.com

  PART 2:  SIGN UP FOR A VOLUNTEER POSITION

• Click the "Sign Up for Volunteer Position" link in the left menu

• Choose the appropriate option

• When you search for positions
  • Hit submit with no search criteria to see all  
  • Enter in keyword (example: water)

• If you don't have a preference, search for one of the following:

  • "As Assigned" for specific date(s)
  • "Volunteer Pool" on Race Day
• To learn more about a job, click "DETAILS" 

• To sign up for a job, click "SIGN UP"

  • YOU MUST ALREADY HAVE A VOLUNTEER PROFILE

    • You will be asked to logon, if you are not already logged on
    • If you don't have a volunteer profile, create one and select "Sign Up for Volunteer Position"
  • If the "Sign Up" button is not available for a position, it means the job is filled

• To complete the Volunteer Sign Up you will be asked to indicate that you have:

  • Read the job description and that you can can perform all the duties
  • Checked to see that you are not signing up for a timeslot that conflicts with one for which you have already signed up
  • Understand you are committing to be present on Race day!
• You will receive an EMAIL CONFIRMATION with all information pertinent to the position(s) for which you have signed up

  SIGNING UP MULTIPLE VOLUNTEERS?

• Please always use the "Create Volunteer Profile" link on the left hand menu or a link provided on a page.
• PLEASE DO NOT USE THE BACK BUTTON TO GET TO THE VOLUNTEER PROFILE FORM ... IF YOU DO, YOUR PROFILE WILL BE VOID.
