The Indiana Thoracic Society (ITS) is the state chapter of the American Thoracic Society (ATS), a professional, scientific organization which focuses on respiratory and critical care medicine. The Society’s members help prevent and fight respiratory disease around the globe through research, education, patient care and advocacy. Challenged by the resurgence of certain infectious diseases, they continue to set the standards for prevention, treatment and control of respiratory diseases.
