Asthma Educator Institute

Purpose
To provide practitioners with current information for comprehensive asthma care and education, and to prepare them to successfully pass the National Asthma Education Certification Exam. Visit www.naecb.org for more information on the exam.

Target Audience
Respiratory care practitioners, nurses, nurse practitioners, physician's assistants, health educators and others who want to provide up-to-date information and materials to asthma patients.
 
Continuing Education
Nurses:   Parkview Health, Fort Wayne Indiana,  is an approved provider of continuing nursing education by the Indiana State Nurses Association, an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accredition.  Parkview Health is a co-provider of this program.  Attendance at the entire program is required to receive contact hours.
Respiratory Care Practitioners:  The American Lung Association of Indiana is approved by the Indiana Health Professions Bureau as a sponsor of continuing education programs for respiratory care practitioners.  Respiratory care practitioners will receive 12 contact hrs for successful completion of this program.
