Things to Think About
DogFest is a volunteer-driven, staff-supported event to benefit Canine Companions for Independence. The DogFest Chairperson recruits a committee of volunteers to orchestrate the event. They recruit the teams, market the event and ensure the standards are upheld for this national signature event. This overview is designed to provide you with a snapshot of DogFest and what it takes to make it happen. Your staff partner will be your DogFest resource, coach and cheerleader throughout the planning process.
