How much does it cost to create a Chronicle?
Each Chronicle that you create requires a $25 tax-deductible donation.  When you register to create a Chronicle, you will automatically receive a year's membership in the National Women's History Museum as well.

Why do I have to pay for it?
The National Women's History Museum needs your donations to maintain and enhance the Chronicle site as well as to assist the Museum in its ongoing educational outreach programs and the effort to procure a permanent building site.

Who can I create a Chronicle for?
You can create Chronicle for any woman who has touched your life, or who you believe should be honored in this way.  Each Chronicle can include as much or as little information as you'd like (or as is available) about the woman you are chronicling.

Can I add photos?
You can include up to ten photographs in your Chronicle to create a slide show.  Please note that the file size of each image cannot exceed 100KB.  You can replace, reorder, or remove the photos at any time.

Who can view my Chronicle?
Your Chronicle can be viewed by the general public once it has been submitted to the website.  Visitors to the Chronicle site can search for and view specific Chronicles, or they can browse recently-created Chronicles.  If you would like to inform your friends and family (or the honoree herself) that you have created a Chronicle, you can send emails or eCards to whomever you'd like to let them know where to find it.

Where can I find membership information?
When you complete your registration on the Chronicle site, you will automatically receive a year's membership in the National Women's History Museum, which includes our quarterly newsletter among other benefits.  If you would like to learn more about membership in the Museum, please  click here.

Will my Chronicle be part of the Museum?
Your Chronicle will become part of our online Museum.  We anticipate continuing the project even after we acquire a Museum building.  Visitors will be able to retrieve information from the Chronicles.  The Chronicle database will also be made accessible to historians whose use for research projects has been approved by NWHM.

Is my credit card information safe?
Your credit card information is processed using the highest online security available.

Can I create more than one Chronicle?
YES!  Create as many as you would like!  When you create more than one Chronicle and log in to your account, you will be able to select a particular Chronicle from a drop-down menu to view or edit as desired.

What if I lose my login or password information?
If you cannot remember your login name and/or your password, go to the  Member Login page and click on the link to request your information.

Can I print a copy of my Chronicle?
Yes, you can print any Chronicle from your Internet browser.
