Welcome to the website of the Integrative Medicine Consortium (IMC). We are a collaborating group of national physician organizations dedicated to making integrative medicine the standard of care.

Some of our most exciting initiatives have been providing support for the development of a malpractice liability insurance policy specifically for integrative physicians www.fairwayphysicians.com, launch of a collaborative medical conference www.iMosaicconference.org, and establishment of a comprehensive board certification for integrative physicians, which is currently under development.

Senator Tom Harkin (D, Iowa) was the 2011 recipient of the Integrative Medicine Consortium's Champion for Integrative Health Award. This video is Senator Harkin's acceptance speech for the award, which was first aired at the iMosaic conference in Minneapolis on April 9, 2011. A project of the IMC, the iMosaic conference was a historic medical conference with four of our member organizations working together to produce one joint conference for integrative physicians and natural health practitioners from the U.S., Canada, and countries around the world. The IMC member organizations who produced the first iMosaic conference included: ACAM, AAEM, AHMA and ICIM. The iMosaic conference was very successful with positive attendee feedback and a lot of excitement generated for future conferences.
