Scripture Memory Verse and Thought for the Week
1 Peter 5:6-7
See the verse in context.
Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you at the proper time, casting all your anxiety on Him, because He cares for you.
Does God care about little things?
Kids often come to their parents with what they believe is a major crisis. In our adult world, it is no crisis at all. But how do parents respond? We listen intently. Then, we hug them and assure them things will be all right. When we can, we work to solve their problem.
As God’s children, we experience His loving response to our needs. If it matters to us, it matters to God. Why? Not because our crisis is significant, but because our heavenly Father cares for us.
