California Western alumni vow to conduct their legal careers with honor and integrity

SAN DIEGO, December 2, 2011The State Bar of California admitted 159 California Western School of Law graduates, passing the July Bar Exam. The State Bar held their biannual swearing-in ceremony today at the Sheraton San Diego Hotel & Marina.

Many alumni attended a breakfast reception overlooking San Diego Bay and took the Oath of Professional Conduct.

These California Western graduates beat the statewide average Bar Exam pass rate for ABA-approved schools, with more than 79 percent of our first-time test takers passing.

California Western’s unique blend of legal scholarship and real world experience provides our students with both a big picture perspective and textbook knowledge; preparing them, not simply for the Bar Exam but for careers as members of the Bar.
