Pam HardyDirector, Marketing and Communications
Pam Hardy, Director, Marketing and Communications
Pam Hardy serves as Director for Marketing and Communications, overseeing all media relations and publications. Prior to her work for the law school, Hardy served as Director of Communications for San Diego City Council President Scott Peters. Prior to that, she produced KPBS Radio's flagship public affairs programs, "These Days" and "Editors Roundtable," overseeing all aspects of show production and serving as substitute host. A graduate of the University of California, San Diego with degrees in communications and political science, Hardy has been recognized as one of the "40 Under 40" by San Diego Metropolitan Magazine and is a graduate of LEAD San Diego. She serves as a volunteer advisor for LEAD San Diego, the Equinox Center, and UC San Diego's alumni magazine.

Ian WrightCommunications and New Media Manager
Ian Wright, Communications and New Media Manager
Ian Wright joined California Western's Marketing and Communications team in 2012. Prior to his work for the law school, Wright served as Communications Director for The Santa Lucia Preserve in Carmel, Calif., and as Marketing Coordinator at Scripps Health in San Diego. He is a seasoned communications and new media professional, having partnered with prominent public relations firms to overhaul their clients' brand-awareness and engagement strategies. Originally from Northern Calif., Wright is a graduate of the University of California, San Diego and holds a bachelor's degree in cognitive science.

Chris SaundersMedia Relations and Production Manager
Chris Saunders,  Media Relations and Production Manager
Chris Saunders joined California Western's Marketing and Communications team in September 2013. He is responsible for coordinating media coverage for the law school and producing video. Saunders was an Emmy Award-winning reporter and anchor at CBS in San Diego for 20 years, before becoming the spokesman for the San Diego County Sheriff’s Department. He also served as Media Relations Director at Thomas Jefferson School of Law. Saunders is the Vice-Chair of the San Diego Regional Hate Crimes coalition, and is also involved with the Crime Victims Fund, the San Diego Padres Hispanic Community Leadership Council and Mothers Against Drunk Driving, where he served as the chair of the Latino Action Committee. Originally from Baltimore, Saunders holds a bachelor's degree in mass communications from Towson University in Maryland.

Taylor GrayWebmaster / Web Strategist
Taylor Gray, Webmaster / Web Strategist
Taylor Gray joined California Western in 2013 as the Webmaster / Web Strategist. He is responsible for the development, implementation, and maintenance of the website and its various components. His duties also include training, Internet marketing, strategic planning, and technical support for the website. Originally from Las Vegas, Gray has a wide-ranging background in web technology in both corporate and higher education settings including several years as the webmaster for the College of Southern Nevada. He received his B.B.A. from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst.

David CrowellAssistant to the Vice President of Institutional Advancement
David Crowell, Assistant to the Dean for External Affairs
David Crowell joined the Institutional Advancement staff in 2006. Assistant to the Vice President of Institutional Advancement, Crowell strives to make each caller and visitor feel welcome. He is responsible for the department's daily operations and provides administrative support to our entire staff. If you're not quite certain whom you need, contact Crowell. Prior to his current position, Crowell worked with Faculty Support Services; Student and Diversity Services; and the Dean's Office. Originally from eastern Pennsylvania, Crowell has an extensive background in human development and elementary education. He received his B.A. degree from Point Loma Nazarene University.
