PROFESSOR SUSAN CHANNICK · HEALTH LAW AND POLICY

Health care news will be in the spotlight over the next few months as the nation awaits a U.S. Supreme Court ruling on the constitutionality of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act.

California Western Professor Susan A. Channick, co-director of the UC San Diego/California Western School of Law MAS Degree Program in Health Law, can answer questions related to health law and policy, the U.S. health care reform debate, the rising cost of health care, and providing care for the elderly.

In a recent two-part interview, Channick discussed the current challenges to national health care reform, and how the debate over eliminating the federal budget deficit, creates an opportunity to discuss the larger problem of the rising cost of health care.
