Your unrestricted donation to the Challenged Athletes Foundation®(CAF) will provide hope and opportunity so physically challenged athletes can find success in sports – and in life.
If you are looking for the best way to help, a general donation allows CAF to step in where medical treatment, rehabilitation and health insurance ends, to ensure that physically challenged individuals of all ages, disabilities and ability levels can live life to the fullest. Please give generously today to help fund CAF’s life changing programs.
Fund adaptive equipment like a handcycles, so athletes like Muffy who suffered a spinal cord injury while training to become an elite ski racer could go on to win three medals in the Paralympics. She now teaches adaptive sports to other spinal cord injured athletes.
Allow our service members like Chris, an active duty amputee who trained in a shipping container while deployed in Afghanistan so he could ride as the captain of a tandem in CAF’s Million Dollar Challenge, a 620-mile bike from San Francisco to San Diego to show the world that no barrier is insurmountable and that no challenge is too great.
Give hope to young kids like two-year-old Josh, a bilateral above-knee amputee, so he can run to the exhilaration of parents and onlookers who watch as he crosses a finish line at our San Diego Triathlon Challenge Kid’s Run for the first time in his life.
Provide coaching and mentorship to individuals like Umida, who was left at an orphanage in Uzbekistan when she was eight-years-old, reach her athletic goals as an elite Paratriathlete and show others what is possible.
Help CAF host clinics on our basketball court and in the adaptive sports center at the new Deni & Jeff Jacobs Challenged Athletes Center.
