What is Parent2Parent? A special program for parents with a child recently diagnosed with arthritis or rheumatic disease. It's for parents coping with challenges that come with raising a child with arthritis.

How does Parent2Parent work? It matches parents with a trained Parent Mentor Volunteer who has a child with arthritis and knows what it is like to have a child with this disease. Parents can then have phone or email conversations with their Parent Mentor Volunteer.

How am I matched with a Parent Mentor Volunteer? Matches are based on diagnosis, age, gender of your child and other factors that encourage mutual understanding and communication between parents.

How can I be matched with a Parent Mentor Volunteer? Send an email to p2p@arthritis.org or call our toll-free number 1-855-552-4878.

Who runs Parent2Parent? The Northeast Region of the Arthritis Foundation with chapters in NY, NJ and Eastern Pennsylvania. Emails and calls are directed to our NJ office for registration and enrollment.
